Wath-upon-Dearne shooting: Second man charged

A man has been remanded in custody charged with attempted murder and robbery, over the shooting of a man.

Stephen Rodger, 29, from Thurnscoe, appeared at Rotherham Magistrates' Court, and is due at Sheffield Crown Court on 29 October.

He is accused over the shooting of Tyron Woodhead, 42, at a house in Wath-upon-Dearne on 20 September.

Another man, Nathan Wingfield, 22, of no fixed address, was charged with attempted murder in September.
