Boy, 16, dies after collapsing on street near Doncaster

A 16-year-old boy has died after being found collapsed on a street near Doncaster.

Police were called at about 20:00 BST on Saturday after the teenager was found on Wadworth Street in Denaby Main.

He was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary but later died.

South Yorkshire Police said the boy's death was not being treated as suspicious and is thought to be drugs related.

Three people were arrested at the scene in connection with drugs offences.

Witnesses or anyone with information should contact the force.
