Two mental health workers have appeared in court charged with the ill-treatment of patients in Doncaster.

Susan Murphy and James Hinds were working as care staff at the Solar Centre at St Catherine's Hospital when the alleged offences took place.

Mrs Murphy, 43, faces 13 allegations of ill-treatment between January 2005 and March 2007. Mr Hinds, 59, faces 14 between the same dates.

Doncaster magistrates bailed them to appear at crown court on 26 October.
