IPCC inquiry into Sheffield woman's death after police contact
The police watchdog is investigating the death of a 61-year-old woman who had been involved in an altercation with officers in Sheffield.
The woman is believed to have ended up on the floor in Southney Green Road at about 17:00 BST on 10 August.
She was found dead at her home the next day.
The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) has started an inquiry and is appealing for witnesses to contact them.
An IPCC spokesman said it was believed members of the public present may have recorded footage on mobile phones.
