Miners targeted for work in Australia
Miners across South Yorkshire are being targeted as part of a recruitment drive in Australia.
Coal producer Whitehaven said it was targeting the area because of its two remaining pits in Hatfield and Maltby.
The company said it wanted to recruit experienced miners to work in one of its collieries in New South Wales.
Due to a shortage of skilled miners, the company took the decision to target the county because of the "wealth of experience" it had.
An event will be held in Doncaster later on Tuesday.
