Sheffield murder inquiry after stabbed man's death

A murder investigation has been started after a man was attacked and died in South Yorkshire.

The 29-year-old, who had suffered stab wounds, was found in Swanbourne Road in Sheffield at about 0400 BST.

A police spokesperson said he was taken to the Northern General Hospital where he later died.

Officers believe the man was attacked in or around Swanbourne Road and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
