Climbers rescued from Cheddar Gorge cliff

Two climbers have been rescued from a cliff at Cheddar Gorge in Somerset.

The fire service was called out at 16:16 GMT on Saturday after they were reported missing. A thermal imaging camera was used to help find them.

A specialist rescue team from Bridgwater and members of Avon and Somerset Cliff Rescue were also involved.

A spokesman for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said they were rescued by 18:17.
