A group of cyclists from Bath have taken part in a minute's silence to remember a 19-year-old man who was killed in a suspected hit-and-run.

They cycled through the city to Midland Bridge Road where Jake Gilmore died on 16 November.

At the crash site, fellow cyclists laid flowers for him before paying their respects.

A 52-year-old man from Bath has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He was released on bail by police until 17 January.

Mr Gilmore's cousin, Richard Goddard, paid tribute to a "kind and gentle" man.

"We're going to miss Jake - everybody liked him - and he didn't have a bad word to say about anyone," he said.

"His parents must be really proud of him."
