Fire at derelict Clevedon school

About 40 firefighters have been tackling a blaze at a derelict school in North Somerset.

Crews were called at 17:00 BST to St Brandon School in Clevedon when smoke was seen coming from the building.

Avon Fire and Rescue has said it is too early to confirm a cause but has said there is no indication of anyone being trapped inside.

The main fire has been tackled and damping down has begun on the roof, the service added.
