Sea buckthorn cleared from Berrow Dunes
A clean-up is taking place at a nature reserve in Somerset to remove a shrub which is spreading over the dunes.
Sea buckthorn was introduced at Berrow Dunes less than a century ago, but now covers half the reserve leading to the loss of other species.
Bristol University Conservation Group is clearing the area which has at least 270 species of flowering plant.
Elsewhere in the reserve, branches of cleared sea buckthorn have been placed to encourage dune formation.
