Experts investigate mystery slime at Somerset nature reserve

Help

More theories have been put forward after a jelly-like slime appeared in a number of locations at a Somerset nature reserve.

Several mounds of a jelly-like substance found at the RSPB's Ham Wall base had baffled wildlife experts.

The charity appealed for the public's help to unravel the mystery and a number of different theories put forward.

Now the RSPB plans to send a sample to the Natural History Museum in London in the hope it will solve the mystery once and for all.
