Trowbridge meat factory makeover approved by planners
Prorsus initially wanted to build a cinema on the former Bowyers site but this was turned down
Plans to redevelop a derelict meat factory in Wiltshire have been given the go-ahead by planners.
The Bowyers meat processing factory in Trowbridge has been derelict since the company moved out six years ago.
Last year developer Prorsus wanted to build a cinema complex, supermarket and restaurants but the application was refused by Wiltshire Council.
The new application has dropped the cinema plans and instead includes leisure facilities and other shops.
