Sochi 2014: Bath's Amy Williams is Team GB ambassador

Winter Olympics gold medallist Amy Williams has been announced as the first official Team GB 2014 Ambassador by the British Olympic Association.

The 30-year-old, from Bath, came first in the skeleton event in Vancouver in the 2010 tournament.

She said she hoped her new role would help inspire Team GB at the Sochi Winter Olympics in February 2014.

Team GB chief Andy Hunt said Williams would "play an invaluable role", and "be at the heart of the action".
