Hinkley B reactor in Somerset given working life extension

A nuclear reactor at Hinkley Point in Somerset is to have its working life extended by another seven years until 2023.

It is the second time Hinkley B, which was built in the 1970s, has had its life prolonged and some critics believe the power station is well past its sell by date.
