Remembrance Sunday: Thousands honour war dead in west of England

Thousands of people gathered in villages, towns and cities across the west of England for Remembrance Sunday.

There was added poignancy in Somerset, with 650 Taunton-based marines currently in Afghanistan.

In Wiltshire, a replacement war memorial was dedicated in Tidworth, the headquarters of several Army regiments.

And in Bristol, a special concert was staged in memory of a rifleman killed in August.
