Two people accused of conspiring to murder a woman who was found in her burning car have appeared in court.

The body of 23-year-old Catherine Wells-Burr, from Chard, Somerset, was found next to the A358 on 12 September.

Her boyfriend Rafal Nowak, 31, of Willow Way, Chard and Anna Lagwinowicz, 32, of South Street, Taunton, spoke to confirm they understood the charges.

A preliminary date for a four-week trial at Bristol Crown Court was set for 10 April 2013.

Both were remanded in custody.

Ms Wells-Burr, a Bath Spa University graduate, worked as a business analyst for Numatic International in Chard.
