Proposals to build a large solar farm near a Somerset village has been approved by councillors despite some opposition from local residents.
The 5MW solar farm will cover 13.6 hectares of land near the village of Chilton Cantelo in south Somerset.
Permission has been granted for the farm to generate electricity for the next 25 years.
The East Area Committee at South Somerset District Council approved the plans during a meeting on Wednesday.
