Van driver may have seen Bath robbery

Police investigating an incident in which an 88-year-old man tried to stop a raid on a cash delivery van want to talk to the driver of a white Transit.

Officers believe the driver could be a key witness to the incident which saw retired police officer Gordon King hit one of the gang with his walking stick.

The raid took place by Lloyds Bank on Moorland Road in Bath on Wednesday.

Detectives are continuing to check CCTV from the area in the hope of identifying the robbers.
