Ludlow homes without water after burst pipe

Homes in Ludlow were left without water for much of Thursday after a problem with a burst pipe entering a reservoir.

Severn Trent Water said it had no idea how many properties had been affected but it had received almost 200 calls about the issue.

Manager Simon Brown said the company had noticed the reservoir at Prospect Place starting to empty.

The pipe was fixed on Thursday night and water has now been restored to all homes, Severn Trent said.
