A woman killed in a collision involving three cars has been named.

Pricilla Ann Hollis, 62, of Maes-y-Dail, Newtown, Powys, was a back seat passenger when the crash happened on the A458 at Ford on 23 December.

She was in a Ford Focus heading towards Welshpool that was involved in a collision with a Vauxhall Zafira going the opposite way at about 21:30 GMT.

The Vauxhall driver, in his 30s, had serious injuries. An Audi A3 going towards Shrewsbury was also involved.

Shropshire coroner John Ellery would be opening an inquest into Mrs Hollis's death in due course, West Mercia Police said.
