Telford knifepoint robbery as men jump into car

A 37-year-old Telford man has been robbed at knifepoint by two men who jumped into his car as he slowed down to negotiate a traffic calming hump, police have said.

West Mercia Police said the robbery happened on Ironbridge Road, Madeley, near the Abraham Darby school at about 20:30 GMT on Tuesday.

The victim was forced to drive to a nearby into a cul-de-sac called Wyvern.

The men then stole gold jewellery worth about £2,500, a spokesperson said.
