Shrewsbury Town players are wearing shirts embroidered with a poppy at their game against Sheffield United.

The shirts will be auctioned after the game to raise money for the Royal British Legion's annual poppy appeal.

Three Shropshire soldiers injured while serving in Afghanistan have been invited to watch the game.

Club captain, Tamika Mkandawire, said: "When you see what these guys have done for their country it puts everything into perspective."
