Telford crews rescue boy from garage roof

A boy had to be recued by fire crews after getting stuck on a garage roof.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said it happened just before 16:00 BST on Saturday in the Brookside area of Telford where crews used a ladder to help the boy down.

Ambulance crews were also called to the scene, the service said.

West Mercia Police tweeted: "An update regarding the child that was stuck in the garage roof, he was safely returned to mum and dad with no injuries."
