Buildwas Bridge reopens early after work
A bridge in Shropshire which was shut to traffic when it was discovered parts of it were no longer watertight has reopened earlier than expected.
The Buildwas Bridge, which carries the A4169 Buildwas-to-Much Wenlock road over the River Severn, was shut two weeks ago after the fault was found.
Shropshire Council said favourable weather conditions meant the £60,000 work to replace some of the bridge joints was finished ahead of schedule.
The bridge reopened two days early.
