Shrewsbury car in river mystery investigated by police
A car has been found submerged in the River Severn in Shrewsbury, Shropshire.
The vehicle was spotted by a member of the public 25ft (7.5m) from the bank off Sydney Avenue, and police believe it has been there more than a week.
A police underwater search team from south Wales will help with its recovery on Tuesday.
Insp James Dunn of West Mercia Police said: "Our concern is to safely recover the vehicle and to establish what's inside."
