Plans to build more than 100 homes on the site of a former Telford school and leisure centre have been unveiled.

The new proposals include 140 homes, a GP surgery and play facilities at the site in Madeley.

Telford and Wrekin Council said it was consulting with residents and a planning application would be submitted next month.

The plans go on display from 16:00 BST at Madeley Parish Council on High Street.

The local authority said that if approved the sale of the residential land would help fund the rest of the project, as well as generating funds for other leisure and education schemes.
