Arrests made in Telford following dawn raids

Police have carried out a series of dawn raids at a number of properties in Shropshire, making 15 arrests.

A spokesman for West Mercia Police said they had been "executing search warrants for drugs and stolen property" in Telford.

It is part of the force's Operation Christmas crackdown, which is also focusing on speeding motorists and anti-social behaviour.

A man, 51, was one of those arrested, on suspicion of cultivating cannabis.
