Rare Jaguar E-type restored

Help

A unique Jaguar E-type car has been restored in Bridgnorth, almost 50 years after it crashed on the Montlhery racing circuit in France.

The restoration involved more than 5,000 hours of work. The team behind it, Classic Motor Cars, now plan to show the Jaguar around the world.

Only 12 competition E-types were ever made and this one was fitted with a specially-made, low-drag body, designed by Malcolm Sayer for Le Mans.
