Man, 55, arrested on suspicion of murder at Oxford flat

A 55-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man's body was found at a flat in Oxford.

Police were called to South Bridge Row in the city centre at 09:15 BST following a fear for welfare report.

A man, believed to be in his thirties, was found dead at the scene.

Appealing for information, Det Ch Insp Gill Wootton said the investigation was in the early stages and added that there was "no danger to the wider community."
