Shrivenham village housing plans cause concern

21 March 2014 Last updated at 23:02 GMT

Residents in an Oxfordshire village have expressed concerns about plans to build 600 new homes.

Two large areas of land have been earmarked for development in Shrivenham by South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse district councils.

Pub landlord Eddie Campbell said: "I think it's going to spoil what we've got… to double it in size will lose that unique feeling."

But a council spokesman said there was an "urgent" need for new housing.
