Flood-hit Oxfordshire firms lose out on insurance claims

Some businesses across Oxfordshire which saw their profits hit by recent flooding have reported losing out on insurance claims following omissions in small print on their policies.

New research by the Federation of Small Businesses has revealed the winter's floods cost small businesses £831m.

Those figures equated to around £1,500 per business in the worst hit areas, including Oxfordshire.
