A second man has been charged in connection with the murder of an Oxford teenager who died after being stabbed.

Connor Tremble, 17, was injured in Fairacres Road on Thursday evening. He died in hospital on Saturday after his life support machine was switched off.

Grant Clemens, 23, of Stockwells, Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, has been charged with assisting an offender.

He was remanded in custody when he appeared before Oxford magistrates.

He is next due to appear at the city's crown court on 28 February.

William Blencowe, 20, of Oxford Road in Banbury was charged with murder on Wednesday.

Post-mortem tests have failed to establish the cause of Connor's death.

Floral tributes have been left outside the teenager's home.

His mother Lisa said her son's death had "ripped my heart into pieces".

A 21-year-old man from Birmingham, arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released without charge.
