Driver killed in lorry collision near Nettlebed

A driver has died after his car collided with a lorry on a busy commuter route through rural Oxfordshire.

The crash happened shortly before 06:30 GMT on the A4130 near the village of Nettlebed.

The man, who was in his 50s and from the Abingdon area, died at the scene.

The driver of the lorry, a 59-year-old man from Kent, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The road has been closed from Nettlebed to Huntercombe End while police carry out investigations.
