David Cameron visits BMW Mini to announce apprenticeships

David Cameron has met hundreds of young people in Oxford to announce a new type of high-quality apprenticeship.

The prime minister visited BMW's Mini factory to set out government plans for 100,000 new trainee posts.

Apprenticeships will be offered by 60 firms from next year and will run in parallel with existing schemes.
