Man found unconscious in Oxford park dies

A man found unconscious and injured in an Oxford park has died.

The man, thought to be in his early 20s, had suffered head and upper body injuries at the allotments in Hinksey Park.

He was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital where he died. Police have described his death as "unexplained".

He is yet to be formally identified but he is believed to have been lying in the park for some hours before he was found at about 08:00 BST.
