The occupants of a dark coloured saloon car may be vital witnesses to a fatal road crash, police believe.

Appeals over the collision between a motorcycle and a car on the A4095 in Bampton, Oxfordshire have been renewed.

Gerard Gargan, 58, from the village, was injured in the collision on 1 June. He was airlifted to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, but later died.

His grey Triumph Street motorcycle collided with a blue Nissan X-Trail on Station Road at 15:25 BST.

Thames Valley Police said the saloon car was seen travelling from Brize Norton towards Bampton at the time of the crash.
