It has asked Vale of White Horse council if an environment impact study is needed ahead of an application.

When considering if an assessment is required, the authority will need to decide if the plan is likely to have significant effect on the environment.

Outline planning permission had run out in 2011 but a further five years was granted.

The warehouse would operate 24-hours-a day, seven-days-a-week, and would create 750 posts - the equivalent of 500 full-time workers.

There would be almost 500 car parking spaces with an existing access road to the A4310 upgraded.
