A34 driver in 'critical condition' after Oxfordshire crash

A driver is in "critical condition" after a road crash in Oxfordshire.

The crash involving a Porsche Carrera and a Mercedes Sprinter van happened on the A34 southbound at Weston on the Green near Bicester at about 07:30 GMT.

An air ambulance took the Porsche driver to the John Radcliffe Hospital in critical condition due to suspected head injuries, police said.

The van driver had minor injuries and was also taken to the Oxford hospital. Police are appealing for witnesses.
