Oxford student sets up motorsport team

Help

A student at Oxford Brookes University has set up his own motorsport team.

Fergus Walkinshaw is the son of the late Tom Walkinshaw, the former Benetton, Ligier and Arrows owner.

The 21-year-old, who is also the driver in the team, is hoping to make his own mark in the sport in a car he built himself.

His team takes part in its first race of the season in the Ginetta GT Supercup at Brands Hatch, Kent, on 30-31 March.
