Woman dies in fire at house in Thame

A woman has died in a fire at her home in Oxfordshire.

Firefighters were called to the blaze in Thame just before 15:30 GMT on Wednesday.

Crews extinguished the fire in the living room of the property and found the woman but were unable to save her.

A spokesman said an investigation was under way with the police to establish the cause of the blaze, which is not being treated as suspicious.
