Man bailed in Oxford over suspected terrorism fundraising
A 23-year-old man arrested in Oxford on suspicion of fundraising for terrorism has been released on bail.
He was held at an undisclosed address on Tuesday in a "pre-planned" operation, Thames Valley Police said.
The force said the arrest related to the investigation of overseas activity and there was no perceived threat to the local community.
He was questioned at a police station in the Thames Valley area and later released on bail until mid-May.
He was also questioned by officers from the South East Counter Terrorism Unit on suspicion of failing to disclose information.
Supt Christian Bunt, from Thames Valley Police, said: "I would like to reassure the community that this investigation should have very little impact on local residents."
Police have refused to release any further details about the investigation.
