London to Oxford rail link to be built
A £130m Oxford to London rail link will be built with trains expected to start running by 2015.
The existing Bicester Town Station will be developed and a new station built at Water Eaton north of Oxford for trains serving Marylebone.
A new track of 0.5m (0.8km) will join from Bicester Town to the existing Birmingham to Marylebone line.
Chiltern Railways said it had been given government permission to start the project.
