Man attacked on Oxford's Magdalen Bridge

A man suffered a serious head injury in an attack on Magdalen Bridge in Oxford.

The 45-year-old, who was with a friend, remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital after the assault in the early hours of Sunday.

The attacker is described as black, in his 30s and between 5ft 9ins and 6ft 2ins tall. He had shoulder-length braided dreadlocks swept backwards.

He had one red braid in his hair by his ear and the bottom of the braids were not beaded.
