A man accused of streaking naked across the front of the Olympic torch relay convoy has denied indecently exposing himself.

Daniel Leer, 27, from Henley-on-Thames in Oxfordshire, appeared at Oxford Magistrates' Court earlier to plead not guilty.

The incident took place in Henley on 10 July shortly before five-times gold medal winner Sir Steve Redgrave rowed with the torch on the River Thames.

A trial date was set for 30 October.
