Oxford man admits sex assault charges

A 51-year-old man has admitted dragging a student into the grounds of an Oxford care home and sexually assaulting her.

Ian Nicholson, of Hernes Road, Sunnymead, Oxford, appeared at Oxford Crown Court and admitted three sexual assault charges.

They were in relation to an attack on a 23-year-old woman in the grounds of the Fairfield care home on the Banbury Road on 9 July.

Nicholson will be sentenced in September.
