Oxford's Magdalen College bells in £75,000 restoration

Help

Oxford's Magdalen College has carried out a restoration of the bells that ring out from its great tower every May morning, for the first time since 1884.

The last time the bells were restored, it cost £300, but this time it has cost £75,000.

The bells have rung out across Oxford for five hundred years.
