RSPCA denies rescue centre claim

Help

The RSPCA has denied allegations that it placed animals in the care of an Oxfordshire rescue centre in the days before raiding it and removing all the animals.

The charity removed 78 animals from Crunchy's Rescue near Abingdon last weekend after the deaths of a horse and a rabbit.

People connected to the centre said RSPCA staff handed over two rescued ducks last Thursday.

The RSPCA denied the claims but said it would not comment as it was an "ongoing investigation".
