Joe Brown hails ukulele revival
The legendary guitar player Joe Brown, from Ibstone in Buckinghamshire, has announced that he is working on a new ukulele album.
He says the popularity of the instrument was revived after a concert in memory of George Harrison in 2002 which ended with I'll See You in My Dreams played on ukulele.
Joe's daughter Sam Brown is the founding member of the International Ukulele Club of Sonning Common in Oxfordshire.
The group has rapidly expanded to over 40 members who perform classics such as Pinball Wizard and The Ace of Spades on their ukuleles.
