Horse replaces machinery in Oxfordshire woods


Old-fashioned horse power is helping to clear timber from environmentally sensitive woodland in Oxfordshire.

The work by Ralph Mankee and horse Hermes is taking place at Lashford Lane Nature Reserve near Abingdon.

It means heavy machinery that could be potentially damaging to the land does not have to be used.
