Oxford-based indie folk band Stornoway have released a new song in aid of the Berks, Bucks & Oxon Wildlife Trust (BBOWT).

Lead singer Brian Briggs said the band were excited to be helping raise money for such a good cause.

Last month Stornoway announced they will headline Concert4Conservation at The Regal, Oxford, on 3 September.

The performance will be in aid of Sumatran Orangutan Society, the Earth Trust and the RSPB.

The previously unreleased track, You Don't Know Anything, can be downloaded on iTunes for 79p. Proceeds will be donated to BBOWT.

Emily Gould, the trust's fundraising manager, said: "This is a very exciting scheme with one of Oxford's top bands and we're thrilled to be part of such an innovative venture."

The band have previously donated two exclusive tracks to digital albums produced by BBC Oxford's Introducing programme in aid of Children In Need.
